In Clue #5, you made your pieced border strips.
For those who have not done my projects before, I use border charts. The measurements are given for the border sizes. You will have to piece the number of strips needed to get to those measurements. Yardage was given for cutting strips across the width of the fabric. Sew the side borders on first, then the top and bottom borders.
This month, we will be adding a non-pieced border, then a pieced border, then another non-pieced border.
Here’s the chart: (NOTE: Border 1 was added in April! Skip #1 and begin with #2 please)
When done, this is what your top should be looking like.
If you’re all caught up through May, please share your photo or a link to your blog post showing your progress. On Wednesday (probably in the evening late . . it’s a travel day), I will draw for the winner . . who will receive a Stash Pack from Vicki Welsh’s Etsy Shop. When you need (or want) hand dyed fabric, please remember Vicki . . who sponsors this Mystery.

Boy, the all look great!

April clue number 4 had us adding first border. I got a little confused until I figured that out.
Viki Kirby says
Did a winner get drawn for the May completion?
JudyL says
Yep, on Wednesday, as scheduled.

they all look great! i’m still catching up on mine, but hope to be done before the end of the month. with 18 members in our CSA, it’s a bit busy around here… it’s funny how each month there are a few less and less linkys to the completed clues! i’m happy with mine, and like it as it’s getting bigger and bigger.
