What’s the best thing that happened to you since last Thursday? Too often, some of us take the good things for granted and let the not so good things get the best of us. Please share some good news! It would be nice if we could learn to celebrate the good and kinda skip over the bad.
We’ve had a great week. We had a great visit with my aunt and uncle. They’ve now made it safely back to their home and we’re planning to visit them soon . . though probably not before crawfish season ends! 🙁 More good news . . our area has had over an inch of rain. We’ve had a light soaking rain off and on for several days so it’s sinking in and my grass is green. Really, it’s just a very thick cover of weeds but it’s green and I love green on the ground so I’ll take weeds and be happy to see them.

Many things to be thankful for this week. Our future DIL was Confirmed and welcomed into the Church on Easter. My DD called last night to share the news that her grant presentation went well on Monday and the museum was awarded the grant to purchase needed archival supplies. AND the snow has nearly all melted from our yard…Spring is around the corner.

I finished a quilt! We have had nearly two inches of rain and that will postpone more severe lawn watering restrictions for a few weeks. Had a wonderful family dinner with kids and grands on Sunday. It has been a good week.
