For those who may not know about the QOV program . . it’s Quilts of Valor. Quilts are made for and distributed to injured service members.
Here’s a little synopsis of the requirements. I send all of mine to Alycia, who does a fantastic job of encouraging folks to make QOVs, as well as getting them distributed to where they are needed and appreciated.
All three of my quilts were made using this simple pattern. All three are quilted using the Square Spiral panto by Keryn Emmerson. This is a blog post about that panto, including where it can be ordered.
I hope to get one bound per day and get them in the mail to Alycia early next week.

When my husband was injured, nearly 9 years ago, we recieved two quilts. One stayed on his bed in the hospital for a year and the other, my daughter took charge of. She still uses on her bed now and the other is used as lap quilt on the sofa. They both have labels and I would love to find out an address or someway of contacting these ladies who made them to say ‘thankyou’ and that they have been used by the entire family every day for the last 9 years.
