My guess is that when all the other little girls are taking ballet, Addie will be hunting, fishing or trapping.
Nicole posted these pictures on Facebook. They went fishing today.
It’s Chad’s first rainbow trout of the season but trout season isn’t officially open so he had to throw it back.
Looks interesting to a 6 month old!

What great pictures! Chad looks fantastic! Addie is so darn pretty! Gorgeous eyes and smile! She seems to love the outdoors! Maybe she will also help her dad build a boat!

She is growing up isn’t she – she looks gorgeous and happy.

Nice to see her smiling face. My oldest Grand-daughter started out with Ballet. She is 10 today and now she does Jujitsu. Don’t feel bad.

Chad is looking like one happy man these days! This is probably the first of many fishing pictures to come! I wonder how many long talks those two will end up having over the years with fishing poles in their hands??!!
Karen Langseth says
Yup, my DD grew up fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, driving tractor…she still enjoys these things today…..

Chad looks really happy and I don’t think it’s just because he caught a fish. Addie is definitely a chip off the old block. I wonder when she’ll bag her first 6 point buck.
Judy D in WA says
They both look so happy. What a good dad!!
Marilyn Smith says
I’ll agree that Chad sure does look happy! But, what a beauty that Addie is. She will bring them so much joy!

My DD grew up loving to fish (she and a girlfriend caught a 5 pound bass that was the biggest our pond EVER produced!). Hunting we didn’t do – but W. loved to hike, horseback ride and just roam a little bit of everywhere all over the countryside!
Today she still loves the outdoors – but also writes books, loves to make and appreciate beautiful things, and loves to quilt.

Addie looks really interested in the trout. I remember wen my nephew caught his first salmon and arrived at the door with it. Auntie was out with camera, ruler etc., to record the moment. It was caught not far from where I now live the houses were not built then

Addy will be a well rounded gal if she learns to fish and hunt. nothing wrong with that. I have 2 nieces who grew up fishing and hunting with my borhter. and the youngest when she was 9 won an ice fishing trophy and beat all the boys, the older one won a turkey shooting contest with Matt Light at our local Bass Pro Shop store. both love girly girl stuff too! she is getting big already! they dont stay small for long enjoy
Joan in NE says
There will be a fishing pole in her hand by the time she is 2. Love it.

A young guy from Saskatchewan moves to Vancouver and goes to a big ‘everything under one roof’ department store looking for a job. The Manager says, ‘Do you have any sales experience?’
The kid says ‘Yeah. I was a salesman back in Saskatchewan ..’
Well, the boss liked the kid and gave him the job. ‘You start tomorrow. I’ll come down after we close and see how you did.’
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it. After the store was locked up, the boss came down. How many customers bought something from you today?
The kid says ‘one’.
The boss says ‘Just one? Our salespeople average 20 to 30 customers a day. How much was the sale for?’
The kid says $101,237.65′.
The boss says ‘$101,237.65? What the heck did you sell?’
The kid says, ‘First, I sold him a smallfish hook. Then I sold him a medium fishhook. Then I sold him a larger fishhook. Then I sold him a new fishing rod. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn’t think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4×4 Expedition.’
The boss said ‘A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a BOAT and a TRUCK?’
The kid said ‘No, the guy came in here to buy Tampons for his wife’, and I said, ‘Dude, your weekend’s shot. You should go fishing.’

I knew they were going to raise that girl right! I love that photo! Just found out my niece is expecting a baby and they are avid fishermen so I am planning a baby fish quilt. My DH is a trapper too…lots of coyotes around here and some bobcat. Have a picture of a mountain lion – can’t remember if I ever sent it to you.
