Chad in maybe 2002
Chad turned 25 this week. That’s good for me because his truck insurance should go down substantially. For years, our deal was that if he didn’t get any tickets or have any accidents that caused his insurance to go up, his combined birthday/Christmas present was that I would pay his insurance. This may be the last year for that deal.
He’s had a whole lot of changes this year . . all good changes and I’m so proud of him. On the day before his birthday, I had asked Nicole if she would have him call me when he got a chance on his birthday. She told me that he was working 5 a.m. til 8 p.m. on his birthday so I figured I’d better talk to him on the day before his birthday.
The picture was taken in Kentucky when he and Vince were outside doing some woodturning.
So many memories over the past 25 years. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like without Chad. After the events in Newtown, CT yesterday, I’m so thankful for so much!

Happy Birthday to Chad! So Proud..He is a wonderful son Judy! You and Vince have a lot to be proud of ..My son turned 30 this week! sigh..but I am so thankful too as the events of yesterday make us realize everyday is a blessing..our gifts are the the little things in life..

I get you Judy, I feel so blessed to have all 3 of my kids. That was such a horrid thing to happen to those kids and their parents. Prayers for them.
