To my blog readers: May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! May we all, whether celebrating with family, friends or simply spending the day alone, count our blessings and find reasons to be thankful.
Every day I feel very blessed — for so many reasons. One of the things for which I am thankful today is for you! When I started blogging back in 2004, I had no idea where it would lead. I never once thought that there would be “friends” across the United States, as well as other countries. I never dreamed that I would feel like some of you are my best friends, that you would feel like a personal friend of Vince and Chad and Miss Hattie! 🙂
Thank you all for being a part of my life! I hope we have many years together.

Thank you for sharing your days with us, and creating a community where we can try new things, and share the results! I look forward to Mondays, and Fridays, just because I can see and share in what others are doing! I have no guild to do that with , so the ladies of DWM, and OTN, are my virtual guild. Without you and your work on this blog, I never would have seen or been inspired by so many beautiful things! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and Blessings on all of you!

I am thankful for finding your blog and getting to know you and your family and animals. You probably don’t know just how your decision to blog has affected my life and I’m sure many others as well. You share your life with me! You make me think. You make me take inventory of my life and my surroundings. You make me laugh, giggle, cry and sometimes spit my Coke on my screen.
I met you a few years ago in Houston at the quilt festival when you and your mom walked passed my booth. I have no idea how but I heard you talking to your mom behind me and I KNEW it was you. Explain to me how that happened! LOL
You have become a friend. My husband and I talk about your posts like you were our next door neighbors and we spoke with you in person each day. Secretly I think he wishes I cooked like you. He has no way of knowing but since you are from LA he is sure it is great. 🙂
I hope you and your family has a wonderful Thanksgiving time together.

Happy Thanksgiving Judy – and well, everyone! Today I celebrated at my son and new daughter in law’s – along with her extended family. I thoroughly enjoyed myself – and we each celebrated by saying at least one thing we were thankful for. For me, I’m thankful for my children, whether birthed by me or brought into our family through marriage or relationship, whether foster or otherwise – and I’m thankful for friends, both here and on the net, like Judy, as well as being able to be part of a large family grouping like today. I’m also thankful for the roof over my head and more food in my refrigerator than I can possibly eat at one time. And that about says it all!
