Baby in a Sack

The baby fits into the little owl knitted sack and it looks like she’ll still fit in it during the winter.

She was one week old in this picture.  Sometimes I see so much of Chad in her and sometimes I think she looks exactly like Nicole.

Such a little darling! The sack is really cool– I’ll bet it’s very comfortable.

The thing I love best about my granddaughter and grandson is seeing the faces of the people I love in their precious little faces– one minute it’s my daughter looking out at me, the next, it’s her daddy, or her daddy’s mom, or my own mother who’s passed. With my grandson, his face is a beautiful composite of his mother and father, and he’s got her patience and his father’s charm.

I’m so glad you got Adelina now, instead of waiting– more years to enjoy her and love her!

When I sent out pics of Carrie in her wedding dress, I asked friends to say whether she looked like me or like Frank. I swear, it came back exactly 50/50! Too funny!

People would say….Oh without a doubt, you. Or ….you can really see she is Frank’s child! LOL.

My goodness she is so awake and aware for only one week. Very advanced like her grandmother maybe. Darling baby and great “sack”.
