Looks to me like he’s concerned about medical bills . . or maybe dinner! Or, maybe having chicken duty for the next few weeks.
No matter what he’s thinking, he doesn’t look too happy about being there but at least he isn’t wearing his holey blue shorts, threadbare green T-shirt and rubber flip flops.
I suppose I shouldn’t be making fun! In the past few days, he’s come to my rescue to kill giant spiders, butcher and clean a mean rooster, capture the black widow spider out of my boot . . he definitely deserves a hero hat this week . . even if it’s kinda hard to coax a smile out of him sometimes.

But doesn’t that look like your foot all bandaged up and you on the exam table? Hum………. I trust that it isn’t as bad as it looks and that you will be Ok soon.

We’ll just say he’s showing concern. If he’s anything like mine, you never really know what they are thinking until they actually speak! Gotta luv’em!

Judy – so sorry to hear about all your bites and accident. Sounds like a busy weekend, at least it was just one trip to the ER. Take it easy and get well soon!

Dang girl! It’s a good thing bad luck comes in 3s. You are done now! Done, I tell ya!!!
That smirk says quite a lot. 🙂
And I love that sandal.
Take care, follow dr’s orders. And hopefully Vince will follow your orders. 😉
If I were closer, I’d come over and be your nurse. Wouldn’t that be fun. Hope you get lots of knitting done.

Better move over. I one up’d ya. I was doing my morning walk out on the gravel roads here on the ranch. Looking up for spider webs instead of down to watch the road, a stump took me down. My GF that walks w/me called ambulance and now seven days, ER, then surgery later, I’m in a foam block for 6 weeks that goes elbow to hand. Of course it was my right arm. Shattered my ulna, radius, and wrist so my future is the couch for 6 weeks, then PT for 6 weeks
Louie is having to do all the canning, inside work and the gardens as well as his normal work load. So we are in a big mess here and I don’t see much relief for several months. I’m so sorry you’re down w/you’re foot. I feel the pain w/you.

Sorry about the spider bite. I’ve been bit a few times too. I think Vince looks thinner. How is the juicing going or are you trying to eat fresh veggies from the garden now?

My son lives in Ft Worth and we live in Missouri. We have been seriously considering moving there. Your stories about the bugs and spiders have me thinking twice. I am petrified of spiders. Tarantulas, scorpions, brown recluse, black widows, giant bugs and grasshoppers!!! At least the bugs are familiar and sounds like they are much smaller.
