On the Needles – June 29, 2012

Without the internet, I’ve been getting lots of knitting done. 

It looks like a cap but it’s my cape.  I will go back and fill in links once I get the internet back at home but the pattern is Cranberry Capelet by Baby Cocktails and is available on Ravelry.  I resisted making this because it looked hard but it isn’t hard at all and I’m loving it.  I think I’ll love wearing it too.  I made the turtleneck a little shorter and went up a needle size so I’m thinking it will fit more like a cowl.  It’s definitely not a tight “stand up” type collar but more of a “floppy” collar.
