My husband can be such a (you know what I’m thinking!). He rarely jokes and everything is dead serious most of the time.
Here’s our conversation that happened at lunch:
Vince (while looking out the window): Oh, my goodness! What’s THAT?
Me: What does it look like?
Vince: I don’t know! Get your camera. It’s a giraffe! No . . it’s just a stump!
Things are funny when he says them because he so rarely says anything other than “The world is coming to an end!”!
Last week we were talking about the garden and I said . . You do realize that strawberries need to be replanted every so often. The plants don’t always last more than 3 or 4 years. Vince said “Well, that’s longer than some marriages!” Who would have thought of comparing marriage to strawberry plants?

I have a feeling the turtle incident is going to stick around for a while.
He’s a hoot!

So do you suppose he THINKS the funny stuff but just never says it? And yeah, I imagine that turtle thing will take a while to go away…which is why you should fix it up to look even more like a turtle. 🙂

Linda absolutely has the right idea! Paint it or carve it or something to make it look like a turtle. Or have it ground down and then put a clay turtle there. Too funny. (because, seriously, it’s gonna be hard to live that down)

Vince’s giraffe comment made me laugh. Too funny!

LOL I had a good chuckle over that! it really sounds like something Iwould have done seeing a stump as a turle. I have to agree w Linda nd Sherryl it is the perfect place to start a turtle collection!

You two are SO funny. It’s true, we all say these silly things, but you two have turned it into an art form!

Maybe you could have an exotic ranch-after all there are quite a few around here! DH sent a picture of a zebra at one to a friend of ours and told him that’s what we do in Texas to horses that misbehave! I do think you need to play up the turtle-to bad you already named your ranch!!!!!

Can’t stop chuckling. Way to funny.
