When I look back at my post from last week, even though I didn’t accomplish my goals, I’ve made a lot of progress.
On the baby blanket, I had wanted to finish the second skein of yarn but I only got about 1/3 done with it. But, if you look back at the post from last week and see how much progress I’ve made . . I did good. For Camp Loopy, this has to be done by June 27.
On the socks, I did get the heel turned and a couple of inches of the foot knitted. This could easily be finished in a day but the baby blanket has to come first since it has a deadline.
More time was spent knitting this week than I’ve done in a long time and I’m happy with my progress.
Goals for this Week:
- Finish Simple Skyp Socks
- Cast on and get the ribbing done for the second Zora sock
- Finish the second skein of yarn for the baby blanket (there are three skeins)

The baby blanket is going to be so soft and snuggly.
I love the color of the socks.
I bet you have all of your goals accomplished my next Friday. 🙂

Your blanket is turning out so pretty and of course, love those socks — the pattern and the yarn 🙂

I didn’t make as much progress this week (have had the grandson all week) but I did make some progress.

I am having to work hard to finish my camp loopy project so that it will be done on the 27th. I looked at the second camp loopy project and decided to pass on it. It required too much yarn (800 yards) and too little time (about one month).
Glad you were able to fit all that in.

hi – I was looking at your socks and I noticed that the heels look ribbed. I am currently working on the Skype socks and the directions just say to knit one direction and purl the other. What am I missing?
Thanks for any help – this is my second pair of socks.

I like the heel that is on my socks because it’s cushiony and seems to hold up well. I usually make that same heel no matter what the pattern says.

Is there a link up this week? I found my camera, which had been missing (in my knitting bag, cough cough) and I posted pictures on my blog! I’m so glad summer vacation gives me time to knit and quilt along with you.
