Some fabric used, a little added . . considering I went to the quilt show in Abilene, it could have been worse! The added yardage consists of 2.75 yards of owl fabric that were a gift and 2 yards purchased for a bag.
Used this Week: 11.75 yards
Used year to Date: 127.75 yards
Added this Week: 4.75 yards
Added Year to Date: 48.75 yards
Net Used for 2012: 79 yards

More out than in, so it’s still a good week.

wow I’m impressed you actually MEASURE what you add subtract on your stash. I’m tooooooo embarrased at the size of my stash. I’m just happy when I can get one of them out and use some of it.

I don’t measure. I simply go why the fabric yardage measurements that Electric Quilts provides. As far as adding, I don’t measure that too. If I buy 1 yard, I add 1 yard. I don’t measure the stash . . just what goes in and what comes out.

Even tho it doesn’t look like I’m working since my numbers stayed the same I really am stitching! Looks like a few others are a little stuck this week, too. If I load a quilt on the long arm today…..I’ll be one step closer….and maybe off set the numbers when my Dimples order arrives.
You were right….they are very nice at Ladyfingers.

I was wondering how you liked the quilt show in Abilene. When my son lived there, my friend Judy and I would go to the quilt show and visit my son. They always had such interesting and beautiful quilts. The vendors were great. We found so many new places to shop.
I had 2 wonderful experiences there. Saw and visited with a teacher my children had in elem. school. She wasn’t a quilter then. The other, one of the ladies I taught to quilt won a blue ribbon with her entry. I was so pleased to know that she was still quilting.
Wish I could have made the trip again.

It can be hard to resist the temptations at quilt shows. I’d say you did a great job. Have a nice week, Sandi

I won’t discuss the amount I purchased (g). The local quilt shop is closing so I had to take advantage and stock up. Right?
