Since today is the last day of May, this is a good time to share a reminder of the upcoming events here at Patchwork Times. There’s a tab at the top labeled “Group Projects” where the same info is posted.
June 1 – The Feather Lessons – These are basic, get you started type feathers. We’ll be working on the Carpenter’s Star top. The lessons will stay on the blog so if you’re not able to do them along with us, they can be referenced at your convenience. Simply click on the “Tutorials” tab at the top and find the Feather post.
2012 Color Palette Challenge – Runs through 2012. New palettes are posted on the first of each month. Join us at any time! There’s a button on my sidebar that can be clicked to get to the details.
2012 UFO Challenge – Runs through 2012. The UFO number for each month is posted on the last day of the previous month. Click the button on my sidebar.
Christmas Town Sampler – The “clues” will begin in July 2 and the final instructions will be given in November. Again, click the button on the sidebar.
Stars & Stripes Sampler – My plans to get this one done in 2011 were changed so the plan is to start this one on September 1, 2012.
Road to Llano – This project will probably begin July 15. It will be a mysterious Quilt-Along! 🙂 A picture of the quilt will be posted for those who want to see it but it will not be posted in plain sight. Fabric requirements will be posted June 15. There will be a limited number of kits available in at least two different colorways. You do not have to purchase the kits from me — you can buy your own fabric or use stash fabric.
No one should ever feel like they have to do anything or everything but those are the “group projects” we currently have or will have running.

What a fun list of quilting projects!! Even if I can’t participate in all of them, I’ll sure enjoy watching you and all the others who will!

I will be ready, hopefully can get my sewing machine up and running for the feathers class and some of the others. Moving is such a pain 🙁

Man, you are going to be BUSY! Not only doing the work, but doing all that blogging! I dont know how you do it! you have been posting like craxy the last few days, and I cant even keep up READING, more or less posting! you never cease to blow my mind. Why do I think you and my husband would be great friends?….non stop people. It scares me to think of what he will be like when he retires! I already know I cant keep up with him, never could (and dont want to…) he keeps trying tho!

I want to know how on Earth you keep up with all of this? Do you have to calendar your quilt projects & when you’re going to work on what? You are the epitome of a good time manager!! I envy this skill!
You rock, Judy! 🙂
