It’s Tuesday, but it feels like Monday. Holidays are kinda like the time change . . it takes me a while to get back on track. When I worked, I loved holidays. Now that I don’t, they confuse me. Vince took off Friday so that made it seem like Saturday so all day Saturday, I kept thinking it was Sunday and kept thinking I’d forgotten to do the Stash Report. Then Sunday felt like Monday . . and now I’ll be behind in everything. With Vince home and our schedule off . . wait . . there was no schedule . . Monday’s chores didn’t get done yesterday. Tuesday’s chores are due today and Monday’s aren’t even done yet.
Not much chance of getting to sew today but just in case I find a minute to sit at the machine, I’ll be working on the 25 patch blocks for the border in the log cabin QOV.
Any sewing going on in your studio on this Muesday?

When I saw your title, I was thinking it was “Muse Day”. I love the Tuesday-seems-like-Monday = Muesday. But I think we need another cow report and it could be “Moosday”.

Yes – I’m about to head in to the sewing room now to try to get a quilt finished – about half way through the quilting. I’m with on on Muesday tho – being on vacation a week, especially with a holiday thrown in, I had to check the computer to see what day it as.

I know what you mean about holidays. I usually work Monday, Thursday and Saturday, so I only got one extra day. But still, that’s FOUR DAYS IN A ROW of not having to go to work!! You would think I’d have accomplished SOMETHING wouldn’t you??? 🙂

Did you start your Camp Loopy project?
Judy D in WA says
I’m almost as confused as you are. Today is quilting day and making a back for the Carpenter’s Star day.

Mike came in from a trip Sunday, so my Sunday felt like Friday, and I’ve been off schedule ever since! Tomorrow when he goes back to work it will feel like Monday and I’ll really be off schedule. But then off-schedule is normal in my world being married to an over-the-road truck driver.. ;>)

I made a decorative throw pillow this morning! Simple quilting on the top but I was kind of happy to have it done by 10 am! 🙂

That’s the wonderful thing about living in Florida.
Every day is Saturday so you don’t have to keep track of what day it is!

I don’t know what day of the week it is, but I know I’ve got a big mess in the living room. I started cleaning up the sewing room and it all landed in the living room. I’d like to put all this lovely fabric and yarn back into the room in a manner that will enhance the decor. Let’s see what I can do. I’m sure the first step is googling. If I’m thinking about decorating with my stash, I’m sure someone else has also.

LOL re Muesday – but that’s a good term for it! Like you, yesterday was a lost cause re sewing and chores (actually was a lost cause since last Thurs when I got sick!)! Today however…..
Today – Muesday – I’m playing Muesday hopscotch! Sew a little, garden a little, clean a little, paperwork a little – and hope SOMETHING gets done!
On the schedule – GARDEN – REPLANT those Peas, spray everything with stinky onion/garlic spray, set Pfred the big bird back up (and hope he scares the other birds away from my veggies!). HOUSE – clean back steps, side porch, front porch, my room and laundry room. Spend at least 15 minutes decluttering my living room. PAPER – self explanatory! (Essentially! – actually my goal is to not be buried beneath it!) SEWING – two-fold – take stock of what I need for summer – and scrounge what I can sew up for that. Finish that mini-quilt, work on project for tomorrow’s class (hopefully up through remaining Block A sewing today ’cause tomorrow I want to work on Sewing Block B and sewing the blocks together).

I think it should be called Tonday, because it hurts a ton to go back to work after a three-day weekend. Seriously, I have a headache right now. 😉

I did manage to sew a few borders on my half-log cabin quilt. Began my day with my mammogram appointment. They built a new breast screening centre on the other side of town, and now have digital mammograms. By the time I returned home, it seemed like I had just checked my email, and DH was asking for lunch. He’s out this afternoon helping a friend with some heavy gardening jobs.
Our long weekend was last week, Victoria Day, although it often is celebrated at the same time as Memorial Day.

Well, I don’t know what kind of day you all it, but I can sure tell you nothing has gone right this afternoon/evening. I working on quilting the “quilt from hell”, my thread has broke so many times in the first pass, I have lost track and while babysitting the quilt, I cut the setting triangles wrong for the quilt top I’m working on. William has been exceptionally challenging today, so much so that I don’t think dynamite will move him from his position in front of the xbox, and there is a whole list of “little things” I’ve spilled, dropped, or whatever else. Oh, yeah, I’m so sore, it hurts to move from one position to another. Ok, I’ve whined enough, I’m ready for a new day!

And obviously I can’t type either! lol, I’m going to bed

it is like that even more so once DH retired, now nothing gets done

My weeks have been messed up because of a trip which took part of two weeks. I flew from Portland to Denver on a Friday. Flew home on Tuesday. (Still okay) BUT! Went by my office to pick up paycheck, went to the bank and then home and collapsed.
Paychecks arrive on Friday, I go to the bank on Friday. The day after Friday is still Saturday. So, when I woke up, I was sure it was Saturday, not Wednesday!
Only worked two and a half days last week. Four the week before and four this week. NEXT week, I ought to have my days squared away.

Mother Nature was right on cue here yesterday Judy. Sunshine after a grey and gloomy three day weekend. The norm for Oregon!

Yep, I made blocks for a new QOV I started Monday. Having the extra day throws off my week too. I almost forgot I was supposed to volunteer at the library Tuesday. Luckily I remembered Monday night.
