Don’t forget to add your link for you April Color Palette project to yesterday’s post. Tomorrow I will draw for a winner of Vicki’s fat quarter packet of hand dyed fabrics.
The fabric I’ll be using for the May palette are the Shade Cascade fabrics from Blank. I’m not sure they make those any more but I have some and even though it almost feels like cheating to using them, that’s what I’m using.
I love the colors and want something real basic for this palette so I think I’m going to do this. And, because it’s so simple, I’ll do it as a quilt along if anyone wants to do something similar with me.
As shown, it’s 68″ x 76″ finished. The name of it is going to be Sweet Treat. Easy, easy! Grab your fabrics and let’s get started on Friday!

I’d do it as a quilt along. I’m quite sure I have similar colors in my stash. I like sunny colors but don’t buy them much, and right now I’m clearing out my stash while waiting for an order from LQS.

I’d do a quilt along as long as it’s ok if I use from my stash. Any quilt you do is great and this quilt looks really fun.

Ohhh! One of the years, I’m going to designate it Year of Judy, so that I can do all the projects you have for us. Right now have so many other things in fires – can’t do this one but it looks great. Judy, you are a wonder.

I count eight colors at a minimum. And I, too, am wondering how much yardage I should plan on. Off to the sewing room to gather fabrics. Thanks, Judy
