Now that the chicken coop is pretty much finished, even though the run isn’t done, I believe Vince was ready for some play time when he got home yesterday afternoon.
It was a gorgeous afternoon . . the storms that hit the Dallas area had missed us but we did have a bit of cool weather that blew in.
Off he went to play on the tractor. Not sure what he was doing but he was soon back home, feeling all “farmer like” after going for a ride and accomplishing something on his bright orange tractor.
Have I said lately how fun it is living out here?

First…so glad you got missed with the storms!
LOVE that big orange tractor!! I’m sure Vince enjoys it, too!

Men and their tractors, keeps them quite happy and busy, doesn’t it?
Helene says
So you’re happy there? Gosh, I really would not have guessed that by all the posts of the last couple months. 🙂 So glad you are enjoying life!

Great pictures! So happy for yOu bOth!

Glad to hear the storms didn’t cause you grief.

Now it must be your turn to play on the tractor.
I read about those storms in the Dallas area and hoped they missed you. Glad to hear they did. It’s cooled off considerably here too. 91 on Sunday and since Monday we haven’t hit 60.

I was thinking of you when I saw the news of the bad weather there. I’m so happy to hear you didn’t get any of that. Looks like Vince is having a blast. Men and their engines!!!

We need to get him a bright orange shirt to match his wheels!

As soon as I heard about those storms last night, I hopped on the radar map to make sure they missed you! Thank goodness. That tractor looks like a whole lotta fun. My brother used to have a cat out at my ex-sister-in-law’s, and I needed to drive it for a bit one day to dislodge some logs from a slash pile. Once I was unhooked from the log, I drove around the field for a while — it was so fun!

As I listened to weather man last night I heard him say the storms were moving East and I thought of you. Can you hide in the your closet of your sewing room if one comes along? Stay Safe!
Rebecca says
I was worried about you and the storms. I’m glad to see you are safe!
Men and boys…the size of their toys!
Yes, you sure have adapted. I hope you have a good garden…it’ll be the icing on the cake!

Love the pics!! Looks like Vince knows how he wants to unwind after a stressful time. We have a saying around here: The difference between a man and a boy is the cost of their toys!!! Glad you didn’t get the high winds, as I’m sure it would have caused havoc on your tin roofs.

This weekend is the Austin Funky Chicken Coop Tour in Austin
costs 10.00 and you get a map and take yourself off onto the tour.
My DH thinks I am nuts for wanting to go! He wants to go see Bluebonnets, I would rather do that on a weekeday when not so many others are doing the same thing. Vince really looks great on Kubota
and the weather really made for a pretty day as well.
