The Deep in the Heart of Texas #2 top is done.
This one has green sashing squares where the first one had red. I thought with the green in the border, it needed a little green in the block area too.
Then I put away all the fabric, vacuumed the sewing room, cleaned off the cutting table and tomorrow I finally get to start on my March Color Palette top!

I love both of the quilts, Judy. I didn’t get to go to the Quilt Guild meeting last night, but I heard your Mother did a fantastic job with the clam shell program that she presented. There had been so many requests for “how-to’s” from her. Just want you to know….

I like the green. Looking forward to seeing your March top.

Yipes! I haven’t had a room that clean in ages. I got a lot of quilting done today. Need to start on 264 HSTs for a triple feathered star. Taking a class with Marsha McCloskey this weekend and I want her help with the hard parts. I figure I should get the easy stuff done first.

I’m loving the green. It’s a little calmer than the red.
Can you give us tips on how to sew up things more quickly like you do?
