Sew the flying geese units from Step 7 to opposite sides of the pinwheel units. Make 20.
Sew a 2-1/2″ yellow square to both ends of a flying geese unit. Make 12.
Make 6 blocks using these strips.
For the remaining blocks, there will be one yellow 2-1/2″ square and one background 2-1/2″ square. Some will have a yellow on the left and a white on the right. Pay close attention to what color square you place where. The corner blocks will have one row with both background squares.

I am loving this pattern! I think you got a triangle at the center of your blocks colored blue instead of red in the first 2 diagrams of today’s directions.
