It surely wasn’t like I couldn’t function without my Bosch mixer and I mostly only use it for the blender and for kneading whole wheat bread but just knowing it was missing was making me want to rummage through every box I saw. That wasn’t good because my rule is that if I open a box, I’m unpacking it completely, no matter what’s in it. Vince doesn’t have that same rule. He’ll open a dozen boxes, dig around looking for something and never finish unpacking them.
Last night he came walking into the sewing room with the mixer!
There are plenty of boxes of mine that still need unpacking but I do believe I’ve found everything that I truly need on a day to day basis. Time to move again! 🙂

Yeh, Vince!

Looks like Vince saved you from yourself … and a lot of immediate unpacking. Now you can make bread and . . . unpack at your leisure. What a guy!

Gotta love that smile!-D

Bite your tongue!!! You KNOW you don’t want to move again. And, congratulations to Vince on his fantastic find. Like Doreen says, gotta love the big smile. Guess he’ll be wanting more good, homemade bread now won’t he?
Perry says
Yea for Vince! I notice his green shirts seem to have disappeared. Has he changed his color palette?

No more moving! Isn’t that your mantra? 🙂 Plus, you have not gotten your farm animals yet. I’m waiting for those tales. (no pun intended!)
I’m thrilled Vince found your mixer. It is good to get stuff out of boxes but I’m kind of like Vince. I still have packed boxes here – 6 1/2 years later!!! I rummage around looking for one thing and leave the rest behind in the box! Mainly because I don’t know where to put the finds!!!

Yay! And I really love when you share pics of Vince, Chad & Nicole (& of course Speck!). I can’t wait for more chicken stories, and goats & donkeys and whatever critters you wind up with 🙂 I started reading your blog years ago for the quilting but since I never have time for that myself these days…thank you for sharing everything!

YAYYY!!! I would be totally and completely LOST without my Kitchenaid, or the food processor!
So glad the mixer is found and you can get in there and make some wheat bread… 🙂

You just jinxed yourself! LOL!

I agree with Linda. Bite your tongue about the “moving” remark. If you move out of that house, I’m going to move to Texas and move in!! I’d love a sewing studio like yours, and lots of open space in the country.
Helen Koenigl says
I agree about the moving thoughts – NO moving!!!!
And I DO love Vince’s great big smile!! What a guy!!!!
Cathy Stoddard says
YEAH!!!!
What a man that Vince is!!!!!
Enjoy!
Bon says
Yah, right on the “time to move again” statement. NOT!
Linda Steller says
Now, now. No more moving for a while. Especially when you’ve just begun to feather your nest just the way you like it. I’m glad Vince found the mixer. That grin shows how much he likes the things you make with it!

Hooray! Successful treasure hunt 🙂 Word of warning: I’ve learned throughout the years, and as many times as I’ve moved — if it doesn’t get unpacked, arranged, placed, fixed, etc. within the first three months, it’s like that it never will. When you have the “necessities” the rest become less important 🙂
Doe in Mi says
Vince looks so delighted and happy with himself for making the big find of treasure. LOL So cute. I just know you didn’t mean that moving stuff. You and We couldn’t handle that again!
