Address for Sending Quilts

That last post seemed to be messing up my blog for some reason so I deleted it.  If anyone wants to send a quilt top, along with batting, backing and/or batting, or just a top with no batting, backing or binding, I’ll be happy to quilt them and deliver them to my friend or to her daughter who will be the one to do the distribution.  Completed quilts can also be sent.  I will deliver these in person so there will be no issue with mailing them to the Austin/Bastrop area.

If you have something to send me, please send it to:

Judy Laquidara
9010 Mesa View Road
Brownwood, TX 76801

I’m a totally honest person but I’m horrendous at acknowledging receipt of the package so if you want me to email you when your package arrives, please put your name and email address in with the quilts.  That way I don’t have to try to match up your name with an email or comment to find you.

Also, I’ll get the quilting done as quickly as possible but we’re probably talking months and not weeks so if you’re in a huge rush to see your quilt delivered, please be patient.  Of course, if I receive 100 tops instead of 10 tops, the time frame is going to be much longer so please . . remember that I’m only human.

Thank you all for your help and please remember I am not asking for donations.  You all went way beyond my wildest expectations with the Joplin help.  All I’m doing is saying I will be glad to help if you’re wanting to send something.  Thank you all!  Your generosity always amazes me!

If you will be doing the cash drive for Red Cross or whatever (like the Joplin one) … please post that info so I can donate there as well.

    Best Wishes!

I would like to send a top and backing. Will get that out on Monday. I am doing an “Empty Nest” room swap at my house and moving my sewing room into a bigger room that was used by my daughter. She is now out of college and on her own. As I was cleaning and going through stuff last weekend, I was amazed at all the tops I have waiting to be quilted. I think I counted 14. I ‘m not able to quilt them myself and have to space out having them quilted because of cost. I have wanted to have some done to donate so this seems like the perfect solution. Thank you so much for doing this.

You must have the biggest heart of anyone. The things you do for people down on hope and full of misery is so generous. Keep up the good works and I am so happy you are able to get back to quilting now.
