Recently I did a book review for Blogher Book Club on a book by Sarah Dessen entitled to What Happened to Goodbye. While the book is written more for a younger (teen/young adult) audience, I loved it and highly recommend it not only for adults who love a good, wholesome read but especially for teens and young adults. No violence, no drugs, no real craziness . . a story built around circumstances too many kids in today’s world experience and it has a good ending! Check it out.

I often love “teen” books. They seem to be written with more of an innocent perspective. I have a teen daughter we often read the same books and discuss them.

Look at the Harry Potter phenomenon. They were intended for the teen audience and took the whole population of the world by storm. There’s some kid in all of us.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m always looking for books for the grand kids. I’m crazy about Christmas presents and they all get at least one book. I love books and hope to inspire them to be readers. Their parents love books too so they have a good start.
