Road to Brownwood Top Done

The Road to Brownwood top is finished and I love it.

Blow wind, blow!  I need all the threads off this top!

The backing has been pieced and I might get this top quilted by this time next week.

Pretty good backing for a purple, green and gold quilt, huh?  And I used 6-3/4 yards of fabric to piece the backing.  The green with the gold stars was a pretty big chunk and I used it all and the purple was left over from the backing I used on a quilt last year.

  2. Well that settles it…the quilt is done so now it is time to find it the perfect new home! Hopefully finishing the quilt will bring you luck in finding the perfect house! I know how trying this can be.

  7. Your quilt turned out FANTASTIC!! It reminds me of one of those “row by row” quilts which I dearly love. The star block is one of my favorites and it looks great with the log cabin blocks. I have printed off the pattern and want to make one. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, Judy.
