Final instructions today!
Once all the border blocks are made, sew 14 together for each side. I pressed my seams open in order to get a flatter seam where the points meet. Attach to the sides of the top. Sew 14 blocks together for the top and bottom. Pay attention to whether you should start with the light or medium yellow blocks if you’re alternating them.
At this point, you can add any additional borders you wish to add. Here’s what I did.
Fabric 3 (dark yellow) – For sides, 2″ x 80-1/2″, and for top and bottom, 2″ x 73-1/2″
For the final border, Fabric 7 (purple) – For the sides, 4″ x 83-1/2″, and for top and bottom, 4″ x 80-1/2.
Hope you’ve stayed up with the instructions and I hope you love it!
