I’ve knitted and knitted and I suppose I got a bit confident because I think I’ve ripped more on this one than I did on the first one. I was so hoping to have this one in the mail to my friend by Wednesday but it’s not going to happen. I’m almost halfway done with the knitting and it takes at least two days for it to dry when I’m blocking it.
This is the Wool of the Andes worsted weight yarn from Knit Picks and it’s working out just great! Love the definition and the way it makes the cables pop!

Must be a rip-out day! I was well on my way to completing the 18 blocks I was making for a new quilt. About 2/3 of the way through (they’re log cabin-like blocks) I realized I’d made an error on the 2nd step. Rip, rip, rip. . .

Ooh, that’s so beautiful! And you know RED is my favorite color. 😉 ;-). I may just have to snap to it and try to do something besides straight knitting.

very nice!! I do like how the cables pop with that yarn..I am finding that the yarn I am using~ they do not pop as much!
