The plan for getting these tops done (my plans are always subject to change though) is that I will show a picture of it quilted, acknowledge the maker of the top, and then I will show them once they’re bound and ready to go but I will not again acknowledge the maker because in my state of total disorganization, I cannot keep up with who made what. Does that sound ok to you who made and sent in tops?
For those who made tops and are quilting them yourself, if you want to email me a picture of your completed top, along with your blog if you want me to link to your blog, I’ll be glad to post the pictures here. It isn’t necessary but if you want to do it, I’m happy to do it too.
This top was sent in by Becky H. from North Carolina and it was the first one I received so it was the first one I quilted. Almost all of her fabrics have stars so I did an overall star meander for quilting. I like doing the stars and they’re fairly quick so I’ll probably do a lot of those. Thanks so much Becky! It quilted up perfectly!
Today I’ll quilt Kathy R.’s top!
Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Since my quilt is next in line to be quilted, I can’t wait to see it when it’s done! Your plan to acknowledge the quiltmaker once the quilting is done is fine with me.

I know what you mean, I just pulled a quilt that needs binding and it’s been a couple weeks since I quilted it — couldn’t remember offhand who pieced the top. Luckily I can refer back to my blog posts to help me remember.
