Monday morning . . who loves a Monday? I do! It’s cloudy, and I can hear thunder in the distance. I love rain and thunderstorms so long as there aren’t tornadoes. Chad was supposed to be at work at 10 so I hadn’t planned to start sewing real early since the sewing machine is right outside his bedroom door. He got called in at 7:30 so I was able to start sewing 2-1/2 hours earlier than I had planned. That’s good!
The music is playing . . the channel Vince and Chad moan and complain about when they’re here . . no one here to complain. I can sing along and no one looks at me like I’ve lost my mind! Thermostat is set where I want it without Chad here to complain that he’s cold or Vince to complain about the electric bill. I’m enjoying my Monday morning!
As I move from the sewing machine to the ironing board, I glance out the windows and . . is this what I think it is?
I took the picture from inside because I didn’t want to scare them off before I got a picture. It’s a fawn nursing! Isn’t that just so cute?
Then as quietly as possible, I opened the door but they’re so close, they heard me.
How lucky am I to have this view from my sewing room!

Oh, how adorable! Judy, the funniest thing happened while reading this post. While reading your post, I now hear your southern accent in my head like you’re reading it to me. It must be from watching your videos of your nephew (?) and your chickens with you talking in the background. Nice visiting with you today!
