From time to time, there are quilters whose work just amazes me. Anyone who makes gorgeous feathers is my quilting hero. Ronda Beyer is one of those whose work I’ve admired for several years. Check out her blog and look at those beautiful feathers she’s posted lately. I’ve never met Ronda but I am inspired by her work. I had asked in a comment about a book or pattern for those curled feathers. She posted about them and wouldn’t you know it . . I have the book and just never have spent much time with it. I’m going to make feathers like that one of these days! Just don’t hold your breath waiting though!

Lovely work; she has a cute dog, too.

Thanks for sharing. It looks as though she uses a stencil for some of the work.

I have about 3 or 4 longarmers I watch for inspiration. I always want to just JUMP up and quilt…and then I remember…OH! I have to LOAD a quilt FIRST! DANG!

Her feathers are nice- not for beginners though. Good to know that there are still those who can machine quilt without a computer driven machine. I like your feathers just fine. I hope/plan to do some on my Bright Stars when I get the borders on it. I will be practiving on another UFO first though.
