I’m such a home body. I want to go places and I have fun once I get there but I hate leaving home. I think of lots of reasons why I shouldn’t leave . . swine flu, rain . . darn, there weren’t many reasons I could come up with why I should stay home. But, once I commit to doing something, I’m doing it! My bags are packed. Vince will have to help me sneak the suitcase into the car later tonight so Speck doesn’t see it. Vince’s clothes are all ironed for the next four days. Everything is ready for Chad to move back home on Friday. All that’s left to do is wake up at 4 a.m., take a quick shower and drive to Kansas City for a too early flight.
Look at those bridges! Maybe I’d better try to think of a few more reasons why I shouldn’t get on that plane tomorrow! 🙂

I take it you are headed to MQS??? Have fun!
Judy L. says
I’ll be driving right past MQS to get to the KC airport to go to Pittsburgh to quilt market.
Chris says
I’ll be at quilt market on Sunday. It’s my first one and I’m really looking forward to it. Maybe I’ll see you.
Ruthie says
Had I known, I would have told you to wave as you drove by!
Michele says
Oh, the bridges are gorgeous, and the scenery back to our hotel is breathtaking… wish I could be a passenger!! hehe I’m blown away by how gorgeous it is here. And the eye candy at Market … I only had a few mins to walk around, WOW. We are going to have so much fun!!
Judy L. says
If the only way for you to be a passenger is for me to drive across those bridges, you do not want to be a passenger.
Another Linda says
Have a safe trip and a good time! Everything will be ok.
Sandy says
You iron? LOL. I do when I sew but can’t say I enjoy ironing clothes.
Seriously, have a safe and wonderful trip.
Sandy
Judy L. says
Can’t say that I enjoy ironing clothes either but I do it.
Nancy says
Call home on your new phone to check on the chickens!
Pat says
I think when you cross the bridges, you should have something WONDERFUL that you absolutely LOVE to eat in the car and dive into that when someone is driving you across the bridges and then you might forget where you are. Enjoy Spring Market. I’m sure you’ll have a lot to tell us about it when you get back.

My baby turned 21 yesterday, and is coming into town this weekend …. otherwise, I’d SOOOOOO be in PGH to meet you — it’s only 2.5 hours away.
Bridges in Pittsburgh .. uhm … yeah. It’s home of three rivers. There’s a few bridges. There’s bridges that go into tunnels …. how are you about tunnels? (I do better w/ bridges than tunnels).
Ida
Judy L. says
Tunnels? Haven’t encountered one since I’ve developed this goofy fear.
Michele says
sit back, close your eyes… it’s a long one! (oh and remind me to turn on my headlights..haha)
AnnieO says
It must be only the great big ones over water that freak you out. Surely you can cross little ones?
