My buddy who gets me into some serious jams with the things she makes and the things she uses to make them . . let’s see . . there’s the grain mill, the meat slicer, the smoker . . CJ! She shares some really neat things on her blog and when it comes to gardening, cooking, preparedness, etc., I am really inspired by CJ. When it comes to that new Bernina she just got . . I’m not even looking at it; not reading those posts.
But she posted this cheesecake recipe and I knew I had to make it. I thought about it for three days and three nights! I was out of town and couldn’t make it so when I was finally home for a day, I made this White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake. It is good! You might want to make it . . when you’re home alone so you can eat the whole thing by yourself!
And then, you might want to go out and buy some bigger jeans! And while you’re at it, buy me one pair of black jeans . . next size up please! 🙂

I’m glad you liked the recipe Judy, I hope we get enough blackberries off our newly planted vines this year as it’s good with those too (and they’re free!).
You’re welcome to come down and play on the new Bernina… I’m pretty sure I could make you fall in love with it. LOL

I had to laugh this morning when I checked the blogs that I follow. You have a link to this decadent cheesecake and the very next blog has a health-concious whole wheat chocolate cookie recipe, complete with directions to make the cookies the size of a silver dollar and eat only one of them. Can you guess which recipe ingredients I’m scouring my pantry to locate so I can bake this afternoon?!? I guess my weight loss goal, along with my pant size, has just been kicked up again!

Omigosh, I just read that recipe and gained three pounds. Sounds wonderful! We’ve been getting our carb rush from the Artisan breads. So far I love the light whole wheat most of all.

Oh, love a DUCK…….never mind new jeans after eating that. I’ll just skip straight to sweatpants in a much larger size than I already have. That looks heavenly. Luckily, I don’t have the ingredients on hand and with the ugly weather, I’m not heading out to the store….so my waistline is safe at least for a few days. 🙂

I went and looked at the recipe. Oh, man it looks good. If I were in my own kitchen, I’d definitely give it a try. But I won’t be home for a month, so I’m sure I’ll have forgotten about it by then. Just incase I do forget, I bookmarked CJ’s blog. 🙂
