Hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day! I’ve loved reading all your comments about your Valentine’s Day activities.
I was reading something while at the doctor’s office yesterday and it was about keeping romance alive in marriage. One of the suggestions was to think back to what attracted you to your spouse when you first became interested in having a relationship with him/her. That brought a smile to my face! 🙂 Anyway, a marriage counselor I am not but I think whether it’s marriage or anything else, we need to treat people the way we want to be treated. Everyone deserves to be loved and cherished and sometimes I don’t tell people or show how much I care often enough.
Why do we need Valentine’s Day to make sure our loved ones know how much we love them? We don’t! We can show our love every day and I’m betting most of you do just that.
We hadn’t planned anything exciting here but I had wanted to bake a few things and that isn’t going to happen. I’ll spend the day being a slug after hurting my back! Don’t even ask me how I did it but it involves picking up a laptop! Can you believe it? I’ve been dealing with it all week and yesterday decided I need to see the doctor so now I have meds. Hopefully I’ll lay low for the weekend and feel better by Monday.

I watched a very touching movies last night that if you find the time you might want to watch – it’s called Fireproof with Kirk Cameron — you can go to the website for it to find out more about it but it was good and let’s you know that it is normal for those in a fast paced life to sometimes lose touch with those they love.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Well, after posting yesterday that hubby and I don’t do anything for V’s Day, he goes and surprises me with a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates! So you can enter me in the giveaway after all!

Feel better soon. I use the gel ice pack I got from my Chiropractor when I get a crick in my back from moving/sleeping wrong. Sometimes it doesn’t take a big fall to make us hurt.

We’ve had a wonderful day…no gifts no cards, just time spent together, a meal that I cooked (yes, I cooked) and now a movie all at home!
Hope your back is better soon!
