There’s not a good place to get a sunrise picture . . all the more reason why I need land!
Chad is working the polls again today and had to be there at 5:00 a.m. If someone had told me four or five years ago that he’d be getting up at 4:15 a.m., dressing up in a coat and tie in order to work the polls, I’d have laughed. I’m so proud of him! He’s decided that his major will be political science and he’s hoping to go to law school. Not the profession I would have chosen but we’ve always said Chad would be a good politician. He can talk you into anything and he loves spending someone else’s money!
The leaves are falling and taking away our beautiful leaf season. Here are the trees in front of my house this morning.
And, my favorite stick is still stuck up in the tree! Doesn’t take much to entertain me, huh?

wow those leaves are beautiful, Judy.
we haven’t seen the sun yet today. it’s raining.
just got back from voting a while ago and everyone was surprized at the massive turn out. Chad will be one busy young man today, but this will give him a good taste of what politics is really all about.

I will congratulate you on whatever you did to inspire your son to become involved in the polling process, but MOSTLY, to get up that early! Wow, he’s amazing!!!

Love the leaf colors Judy. I guess I’ll live vicariously through your pictures until I’m able to be blessed with living in a state that has “seasons!” Thanks for posting your pictures, I always enjoy them.

The leaves are beautiful. Its the beginning of Summer here and since we are in a drought at the moment everything is already starting to look yellow and dry!
I cant wait to see some quilts you have been working on lately, especially that snowball quilt from a while ago!
Cheers from Aus 🙂

Thanks Judy for the fall pictures. I now remember what I loved so much about living in Springfield, the season changes, all of them!

Thanks so much for posting the fall pictures. Since we moved away from the States, we don’t get to see that beautiful autumn foliage anymore, and I sure do miss it!
