How’s everyone doing on their UFOs? We’re coming up on the end of the first quarter of 2018. How time flies!
I’m very happy that my three so far are finished.
If yours aren’t up to date, work really hard over the next few weeks to get caught up. I know from experience that the farther behind we get, the harder it is to catch up and we all want to finish those UFOs that were on our 2018 list because, if you’re anything like me, you’re already creating many for the 2019 list.
2019? Did I really just type 2019??

I just finished my January UFO! I am happy to be making progress, and I did a ton of cutting today on my March UFO. (I think my February was too much to think I could get done, and it might slide into next year).

I’m working on 4 Bonnie Hunter quilts at the same time so trying to finish them up before I go to her next workshop in May. A tad overwhelmed but plugging away daily at them.

I finished the center for my January UFO. I can’t remember about February and I haven’t even touched March’s because of all the moving happening. But I am going on a quilt retreat in April and have big plans!!

I haven’t touched my March UFO at all, and I substituted in another project for the February UFO. (that was because of a size mis-match…I’m a larger size than the sweater was going to be…) I have hopes for April, but with my job as crazy as it has been, I’m not holding my breath. I am making excellent progress on a baby blanket that must be done by July. That’s a good thing, since I now have another baby something to make for this fall…

I haven’t stuck to the numbers for each month, but I do have three on the list done and am close to finishing another.

I am making small progress on my UFO list. Just finished my 2nd one for 2018. Now that taxes are done, and progress on other important life issues, maybe I can get back to focusing on sewing up my UFOs.

I am plugging along on my list. January’s quilted jacket , I’ve got to finish quilting the fabric first, then I can move ahead on that. February: I managed to finish all the blocks for my Lady of the Lake quilt. March: I’m 3 blocks short of the number needed for my nieces Crossed Canoes quilt. I’m pretty sure I can get those done before the 1st.

January just needs binding sewn down, made some progress on two others, need to get going to get the tops quilted! Thanks for the push Judy!

Now that life has settled down-sort of, I’m full speed ahead on my list. It feels good to sew again.
