Day 1 for me starts with picking up the sewing room. It’s a bit of a mess. Then, not quilting, but sewing . . I’m going to sew together a top for me that I cut out last week.
Next, I’m going to bind Chad’s deer quilt.
At some point today I have to stop sewing and run to the vet’s to get more heart meds for Speck. Otherwise, I’ll be sewing.
Anyone else spending time in the sewing room this morning?

I have 2 quilts that are waiting to be bound and one that is in the process of being hand quilted. So I’ve got a choice of projects to work on. Sounds like your day is going to be a busy one!

Attaching a binding today – queen sized. I forget how hard it can be to do this as it is so heavy and a lot to handle!

Unfortunately ,no. I promised a friend that I would drive down to Angleton and have lunch with her at school. That was fun, but no sewing has been done. No I have to go pick up chocolate ordered from another friend’s son to support his baseball team. This evening, I plan to finish quilting Matt made from duck and twill to go under the cats’ litter boxes. Please show us your top when you get finish!

I spent 3 hours in the Sewing Nook, rearranging furniture, making lists of needed lights, shelves, extension boxes, moved old computer around. Ready to get his stuff out, so I can move the new Oragami bookshelf I ordered on flex pay, put the tv on top, build my sewing table top, paint and, whew, sew. Lol. He left as I began to go to work. Fill shelves, it will be a one person room for me, tiny but workable as long as The Scraphaus holds the stash and storage.
