On my needles . . lots of things . . too many things!
First, I have an Architexture started. I haven’t worked on it much this past week but I love it and will get it finished soon. It’s an interesting knit and I love the yarn (Dream in Color Smooshy).
Next is Addie’s socks. I didn’t get much done on the second sock yesterday but I should be able to finish those today.
Third . . Find Your Fade. I’m telling you . . it’s almost comical how many times I’ve screwed up and started over. It’s so easy .. my brain just doesn’t seem to be with the program for the past few days. The good news is . . root canals are behind me and cedar pollen seems to be fading.
Find Your Fade is so easy (once you choose your fabrics), but I have done every stupid mistake possible. It’s almost all plain knitting and I manage to get a purl row in every now and then and have to rip back. Then I was knitting and Boots took control of the needles and pulled one side completely out in the lace section so I looked at my work, decided since I’m a loose knitter, I should go down a needle size, so I started over. Then I had all of Section 1 one done, realized I had done several purl rows again, and didn’t like it with the smaller needle so I started over again. Ughh . . If I didn’t want to do this one so badly, I would already have packed this yarn away and given up.
So . . what’s on your needles?

Judy, I can’t begin to tell you how nice it is to know that someone besides me starts projects multiple times! I’m working on a Miss Winkle, among other things, and I know I started and ripped at least six times before I finally figured out how to do the loops. I’d get going for a while, then look back and realize one of the loops was reversed. Grrrr

Judy, you’re not alone. I’ve ripped back my Fade so many times that I just started my first lace section! I’d get to the end of a row and count and I’d have the same number of stitches on each side of the marker, but it would be a different mistake each time and I would have to tink back. It doesn’t help that the first yarn I chose is very splitty and not fun to work with, can’t wait until I change yarns! Looking forward to seeing yours!

sounds like the norm for me for starting a new project. Thats the way it went on the last sweater I knit and I finally got it right!
