You’ve already seen the sweater I finished. Yesterday I started another pair of Diamondback Socks. This yarn looked like it would make up pretty in that pattern. I’m liking them a lot. Bad picture but once finished and blocked, I think these are going to be so pretty.
What’s on your needles?

Beautiful colors I can see a sweater out of this. Could wear with everything you have. Can’t wait to see them finished.

It is a beautiful colored yarn. For some reason, it makes me think of candy — maybe because the color is “Peachy Keen Jelly Bean”.

Do you ever knit socks for Addie? I think she’d LOVE those colors!
JudyL says
Not yet. The hand dyed type wool doesn’t hold up to the kind of abuse Addie puts socks through. She also is at that stage where she wants Dora or Elsa or Dori on her socks.

The yarn is pretty, but that pattern reminds this Texan of a Diamondback Rattlesnake. Not good memories linked with one of those.
JudyL says
There are lots of “diamondback” references – not just snakes but even though I do not like the rattlesnakes, I love how this pattern forms with the striping yarn. If I avoided every reference to bad memories, at this age, I’d be quite limited!

And, if ever I see a pink, purple, green and yellow rattlesnake, I might totally change my mind about them. 🙂
