Have you heard of the Ravellenics? If you’re not a knitter, probably not. Heck, if you’re not a knitter, you’re probably not even reading this post, right? The Ravellenics are games/competitions that happen on Ravelry during the Olympics. I’ not a real dedicated player but I love participating as I am able. There’s the Sock Put Event, the Sweater Triathlon, the Synchronized Spinning and a ton of other events. I’m hoping to get a sweater done (at least started), socks done and maybe progress made on a shawl.
The reason I’m telling you all this is because we cannot cast on til the Opening Ceremonies begin and that’s about 6 p.m. for me (somewhere in that vicinity). So, as soon as the Opening Ceremonies begin, I’m going to cast on for a sweater, and at least one pair of socks. I’ll tell you about the shawl later.
While waiting for cast on time, I’m working on the second Asgard & Rivendell sock. Blurry picture . . sorry.

Great idea with the knitting olympics I may just start a new project tonight too and I will have the remote tonight so no channel changing. Love the red socks

I’m not a knitter, but I read your knit related posts just to see what you’re knitting. Such pretty items! I was just going to comment how much I like your gorgeous pink socks!

What a fun idea. Too bad I’m so far behind on my other sock knitting. Maybe I’ll just watch you make more beautiful knitted things and drool.
