As far as yarn, it’s a sad report! The Loopy Ewe got in a new yarn, Fresh from the Cauldron. Four skeins jumped right into my cart. Left to right: They Ate my Tailor, Volterra (x2) and Pride, Prejudice & Zombies. How cool are the names? The Loopy Mixer for this month is a Knit Along for making Architexture. The pattern recommends fingering weight yarn and size 3.75 mm needles and I know that’s good for drapey fabric but I like a tighter knitted fabric so I went with a sport weight yarn. When it was all said and done, there are 4,240 new yards in my stash. Some of it is destined to be used right away, some will just be added to the stash.
And don’t think because there’s nothing in the “used” column that I haven’t been knitting. I’m still babying a bad back so there’s lots of sitting and knitting. The meds make me really sleepy and pretty worthless.

Hope you feel better soon. Back pain is the worst, although mouth pain is a close second.
