Stash Report – January 24, 2016

As far as fabric, nothing added and nothing used so these numbers didn’t change.

Fabric Used this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Used year to Date: 0 yards
Fabric Added this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Net Fabric for 2016: 0 yards used

As far as knitting, a little was used and a little more was added.

Addie’s Mermaid Blanket was finished and it used about 1000 yards. Phoebe’s Sweater and the mouse sweater require bulky yarn and I didn’t have any bulky yarn so either I didn’t make the sweaters or, I ordered yarn. This is where I don’t mind buying yarn — something with a purpose and not just stash building. I ordered Cascade Aran, which isn’t exactly bulky, but it will work. Just so I’d have enough to use for swatching, and in case I needed more because it’s a bit lighter weight than bulky, I ordered 1365 yards. I also ordered one skein of Cascade 220 in light pink for the mouse ears. I only had a bright pink and thought that was a bit too bright. So, that’s another 220 yards for a total of 1585 yards added this week.

Yarn Used this Week: 1000 yards
Yarn Used year to Date: 1315 yards
Yarn Added this Week: 1585 yards
Yarn Added Year to Date: 1585 yards
Net Yarn for 2016: 270 yards (red means I’m in the red!)
