The End! A very non-productive year in the sewing room. I’d like to be more optimistic about my sewing in 2016 but I’m not sure I’m overly enthusiastic about it. Maybe the sewing desire will return as quickly as it left .. who knows.
Anyway, I fell far short of my goal for fabric usage. That’s ok . . some day I’m sure I’ll get back in the sewing room.
The Stash Report will continue into 2016 and I’ll have a blog post about that soon.
Used this Week: 0 yards

Added this Week: 0 yards

When you first began these stash reports you said that your main goal was to use more fabric than you add. By that criteria, you have had a very successful year! Your fabric will be waiting for you when you are ready.

Did you set your annual goal based on the quilts plus backing so you planned to make for the year? I, too, have had a year that has been less than productive due to other adventures in the craft world. I have been waiting for the quilting bug to bite and am sure it will as I have had periods of time like this.

Thanks for keeping us accountable throughout 2015. May we all work our stash more in 2016. Happy Holidays Judy! Sandi

Congratulations on not adding any fabric in 2015!

I count you successful as you didn’t add any fabric to your stash – that is a great accomplishment. Anyway – you’ve made some fabulous sweaters this year – count the yarn used in yards and you’ll have blasted away your used thread/fabric for the year – isn’t yarn and fabric both made from threads? Happy New Year, Judy – look forward to reading your blog in 2016.

You are still way ahead of me. Even with a productive year for finishing quilts and making a donation to a church quilting group, I’ve added way too much to my stash this year. Unfortunately, two quilt shops in this area closed for business this year. The discounts were too good to pass up. Hopefully I’ll use more than I add in 2016!

The stash reports really help me stay on track, so I’m glad you’ve continued to host them even though you’ve lost your quilting mojo for the moment.

I haven’t used much this year but I did buy some.. just can’t help myself, I love beautiful fabric. I am working on a mystery quilt so that will take up about 10 + yds.
Judy , I sure miss your quilt alongs! You are the best teacher….
