No progress this week on Pixelated Pullover. I’m so close to being done with it . . surely by next week I’ll have it finished.
This week I’ve been working on a test knit for Laura Aylor. I’m not going to say much about it here because I’m going to do another post later this morning about a KAL Laura is doing with this pattern. This is an easy pattern – goes fairly quickly, is easy to get into a rhythm and it’s real easy to see if you’ve made a mistake before getting too far past it.
In the photo below, I was auditioning the blue and the lavender to see which I should use for the border. I think I’m going with blue. I should get to that point in a couple of hours so if you think I should not use the blue . . speak now or forever keep your opinion to yourself! 🙂
Ramona says
I like to blue, too! This pattern is beautiful.
Pdudgeon says
i like the bottom blue skein better than the top blue skein. to me the bottom color looks like it will harmonize better with the main color and not be as harsh a transition.
Denise Russart says
Very pretty stitch pattern – I do like the blue with it.
Sue S says
Funny how Pdudgeon sees them both as blue, must have something to do with our monitors. To me I like what I see as lavender is a bit softer and I love lavender and gray, but the blue is nice too.
Laura says
I really love the blue with the gray.
ann says
love the stitch pattern I like the lavender better, looks like opinions are equal
Swooze says
I like the lavender but your gut feeling is what counts. I would probably make it all one color but not knowing the pattern it’s hard to say :). Your work and color choices are always lovely.
Dottie N. says
The bottom (lavender?!?!?) is more appealing to me, BUT, I don’t know if the color(s) are coming through like they look in person. Whatever you go with will look lovely (as always!).
Maggie says
I think both those yarns are so lovely I don’t know how I would ever choose!
Wendy says
If the bottom skein is the lavender in the photo , I like that one better.
Lynne in Hawaii says
count me in for the blue!
Sandie says
I know I’m too late for the opinion to matter (And it shouldn’t anyway!), but I think you chose perfectly! The blue is beautiful!
