Mostly what I’ve worked on this week is my Pixelated Pullover. I’ve been able to try it on and I love it! This is the first large stranded colorwork project I’ve done and I struggled at firs. My stranded work got better as I did more of it. After a good blocking, I think it will look great. I’m hoping to get the sleeves done this week and be able to wear it while it’s still cold. The neckband was finished after the photo was taken so all I have left to get done are the sleeves.
You can’t tell in the photo but the dark is a deep purple and the turquoise at the top and bottom is a vivid, bright shade. It looks kinda washed out in my late night photo.

Judy, this sweater is gorgeous! I just love your design. I can’t imagine how beautiful it is in person since I love the “washed out” colors.

I’m loving your Pixelated Pullover! Can’t wait to see the finished pix and “real” colors!
I have the yarns for mine already, but can’t start it, yet. I got Tosh DK in Cousteau, Button Jar Blue, and Fluoro Rose. But my daughter is getting married April 12th and I have things to get done before then, like finding my “Mother of the Bride” dress and rehearsal dinner dress and shoes, do the quilting on my middle sister’s quilt and our newest great-granddaughter’s quilt, etc.
This will be my reward for surviving the wedding festivities, and it will be ready for next fall and winter! LOL!!

I want to make the Hiro, which has a similar vibe but its a cardigan. I am paralyzed trying to choose the colors though. (I read your recent post about choosing, and it helped a lot.)

Love this Sweater! The colors are beautiful! It looks very nice with the shorter sleeves in this picture too. Is it long sleeved?

Love your sweater. Can’t wait to see the finished sweater and in better light, although in bad light it looks great!

This is just a beautiful sweater. I might have to dive in and do this. Haven’t done any stranded work in 40 years. My first sweater for my husband was an all-over ski sweater (long ago). But, I have found a knitting group with a capable teacher and I can’t wait to join them. This sweater could be possible. Love yours Judy, and all the ones I saw on Ravelry. Yours will be great when finished, and it looks like Winter will still be here for you to get some wear with it. Enjoy!

I like this sweater the best of all. I like the colors and style. Now with that said stop beating yourself up on the yarn . You use it and make things that can be used. It isn’t just sitting at you staring back. Kind of like material you us it when you need to. You’ve saved loads of money because material is much higher now and you can’t find the same stuff anymore. You save gas by no having to go look for something each time you need it.
KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THIS>>>>>>> IT WORKS FOR ME most of the time.
Love all your post and that granddaughter is just the prettiest little girl.
Do miss the chicken post. How are they doing?

Well done. I enjoy knitting vicariously through you! Someday, when I don’t have so many littles at home, I will learn, but for now, I’ll enjoy your knitting.
