Nothing used and nothing added. I started a pillowcase yesterday that I had intended to finish just so I would have something in the used column but . . there was a skunk issue and things didn’t go as planned. Anytime there’s a skunk involved, chances are someone’s plans are probably going to get changed. Just another day in the country . .
I have been sewing on Allison’s quilt and I think by the end of today, barring any unforeseen critter encounters, I should have all the block components made . . lots of half square triangles, 48 flying geese and 96 partial quarter square triangles.
Good luck to all of us who are attempting to do some major stashbusting in 2015. My goal is to use a net of 200 yards and I’ve added that to my little numbers box below.
Used this Week: 0 yards
Used year to Date: 0 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Yards to Goal: 200 yards
Net for 2015: 0 yards used

I’m hoping to make some stash disappear into finished quilts this year. If I can exceed my record of 60 yards I’ll be happy. Good luck with your goal of 200 yards.

Looking forward to seeing your fabric projects this year! I know you can do the 200 yards!

Judy, I DID make my pillowcases so I could start off the year on the right foot. I have no doubt that you will make your goal easily. I’ll be making lots of pillowcases unless I can find another use for 30+ yards of pre-cut pieces. lol

Oh, I didn’t even think about a goal. I think it should be less fabric in and more fabric out! In looking back at my spreadsheet, I see that I usually buy large quantities of fabric at quilt shop sales, which I guess is a good time to buy it….but then i really need to use it also! Happy New Year Judy – and hope the skunk smell is clearing out today!

None in, none out for me!
Skunk issues! So far, we’ve lucked out on those, but we have mouse issues. In fact, this morning was an early one after a mouse trap went off in my room!

I’ve followed stash busting by you and countless others over the years and didn’t want to commit to stash busting myself. But this is the year. No clue what goal to set. I’ll just see how the year goes. Hopefully my # of yards add for the year will be as close to 0 as possible. Right now my house looks like it houses a medium-sized quilt shop, minus the benefit of neat display shelves.
