It’s a fun and quite simple pattern. It takes 3 skeins of fingering weight yarn. I’m using Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light. I think this pattern would be great for Christmas gifts since most of us have too many single skeins of fingering weight yarn, and it’s quick enough to get several done between now and Christmas. Another good thing – it’s fairly small and lightweight so even if you live where there’s not much winter, this is great for a cold restaurant or movie theater. It’s also something nice that can be done in team colors for those Friday night football games!

Oh, Judy, I think I’ve just been sucked into the KAL for Exit-O!! LOL!
I got to read 5 pages of the KAL comments before walking the dogs, came back in and started looking at my yarns, and now I’m off to read the rest of the pages. It really is a beautiful shawl!! And, my “Outlander” MKAL will be done by then, soooooo…….

OK. I ordered the pattern and now to find some yarn in this stash of mine…spread out all over my office! I’m not sure I can do this stripey stuff but we’ll see.
