Ughh! Do as I say and not as I do! 🙂
Breakfast was just an apple. Lunch . . Vince had errands to run and brought home Subway sandwiches. Dinner . . Vince had errands to run and we ended up grabbing a taco, even though dinner was ready at home. I know what we’re having tomorrow night.
Hope you did better than we did.

Still eating out of frig and freezer.
eggs for breakfast (with the realization that the organic eggs will run out in a couple of weeks during a real crisis)
lunch was home made meatloaf from the freezer (I make them serving size) and the last of the roasted asparagus
afternoon snack was home made chicken salad with avocado and tomato
dinner was steak and steamed green beans
very cool here today, so I have a roast baking in the oven tonight that I will eat tomorrow and later in the week

Haha, same here. Ernie wanted to pick something up on his way home, who am I to argue that! Dinner will be easy tomorrow. 🙂

We managed to stay on track for the third day. DH often has to do work lunches, but so far this week, we have been able to plan dinners and have leftovers for lunch. Tomorrow’s lunches are ready – dinner is still being planned. My husband usually likes trips to the grocery store, but I think he is seeing the benefit of only going once a week!

Still eating out of fridge, freezer and pantry: breakfast as in two previous days (juice and coffee with milk); lunch like yesterday (campell soup which we buy by the case from an employee who gets a discount) and dinner was a hamburge (with cheese, on whole grain bread), tinned vegetarian beans and applesauce, with cookies for desert (brought by a friend of husband who was doing photo work with him).
Tomorrow is fish and, if I get around to it, a cheesy rice casserole… Again, from fridge, freezer and pantry.
I am running low pn some things (pepper corns, capers, paper toweling) but since we usually only shop once a week, should be able to make it through the week…

Today was our monthly trip to the dump. It takes about 2 hours each way so I packed drinks and snacks and when we got home we had homemade tamales from the freezer I had made a few weeks ago. It was a great dinner!

I had cereal and milk again for breakfast, a pimiento cheese sandwich (probably one more tomorrow) and almost a whole bag of Gardetto’s for dinner (again, leftovers from the ballgame). I wasn’t hungry really for dinner because I ran to the quilt shop this afternoon for a couple of things I still needed for tomorrow’s workshop with Kim Diehl (YAY!!) and Braum’s is right across the street. Of course, I HAD to have a sundae with chocolate almond ice cream and marshmallow topping, right?! HA I could have skipped that and stayed ‘on program/challenge’ but I didn’t want to! :-))

Another day of no shopping or eating out, didn’t even leave the house.
Thursday is usually my grocery shopping day, it will be postponed until next Monday. Mother wanted tom. soup with crackers, we were out of crackers so I went to you tube to learn how to make them. They were not all that great but crumbled into soup they were fine. I will be making them again.
As I only leave the house 2-3 times each week this has been an easy challenge so far. Looking forward to the next one Judy comes up with.

We did well yesterday, despite being in town and running errands, which is always a temptation to buy fast food. Instead, we boogied home and made lunch! Supper was leftovers, despite my husband trying to convince me we should drive back into town for shopping and dinner.
Today, I’m trying to prep lots of food for a few days, since I do so have a hard time cooking right now!
