Great progress this week on Nicole’s Blue Sand Cardigan. I’m at the point of doing the short rows to make the back longer. I thought I’d breeze right through those but it’s a darned lot of knitting! The other night I got in bed with the pattern (such a wild woman) and was reading the pocket instructions and they scared me half to death so I put that out of my head and will think about it when I get to it . . which could be this afternoon, depending on how much time I spend on my chores today. Blue Sand has been fun so far. Definitely I will make one for me some day.

There’s still the band that goes around the bottom and sides and neck and the sleeves. Think I can have this finished by next Friday’s On the Needles report? I hope so!

Wow, you are one amazingly fast knitter! It takes me a week to make a hat…. I’m sure you’ll do fine with the pockets; you’ve done much harder stuff than than already. IMHO
