Lots of knitting going on around here. First, I’ll show you what Nicole is knitting. She just started this scarf on Wednesday night and she’s making great progress. This isn’t her first knitting project but she’s still a fairly new knitter and doing a fantastic job.
I’ve also been working on my Quaker Yarn Stretcher since it’s a little more forgiving than a sweater . . with frequent interruptions. There is a mistake that I made on it last time I worked on it but it’s not terrible and it’s staying!
My biggest priority is getting the duck socks made. I got one done yesterday except for finishing the I-cords on the sides. This was my first time to do an I-cord and the one in the center went fine. I put the first sock aside to get started on the second sock and I’m about halfway done with it so they’ll definitely be finished before I leave here and hopefully we’ll get a picture of them being modeled by Miss Addie.
With any knitting time at all today, I’ll get the duck socks finished.

Great job Nicole! The duck sock is adorable. I can’t wait to see them on Addie!

Judy I think you need a pair of duck socks in that color for yourself — it looks like they would go very nicely with the Quaker yarn stretcher shawl! 🙂

I can’t wait to see Addie model those ducks too. What fun to knit for a grandchild.

How fun! I’ll bet these are very popular with a certain grandbaby..
