As you might guess, there hasn’t been a whole lot of knitting time this week.
This is actually my picture from last week when I think I had 27 teeth done. I now have 32 teeth done and need to get 42 done before it’s finished. The rows are getting longer and taking longer but I should get this project finished easily by the end of the month.

I have another post today on my series of sock heels. Because of all the self striping yarn that I own, I decided that it would be a good thing to use on different heels. The leg and foot are done in stockinette because, frankly, you can’t see fancy stitches in self-striping. But the techniques and lessons I am learning in the series is great!

A very interesting project. I’ve been following your blog for a long time & must have missed “what is it?” Is it a shawl?
Love reading about your life on the Ranch…

It looks like yarn with close color changes works really well for this pattern? I love yours! Now I”m torn as to whether to start Hitchhiker or Wingspan!

I’ve been too busy trying to stay in an upright position all week to worry about knitting. Whole Lotta Fallin’ Goin On around here (sorry Elvis) this week, but I’ve managed to get a lot of cherries and squash taken care of. Now just have to do more cherries and green tomatoes, while I figure out what the heck I intended for the mess in the crock pot. I’m sure I’ll come up with something edible from it. Somehow, I’m not surprised you haven’t done much knitting though. A little girl on your mind maybe?

I’m working on Brickless still but right now I’m wishing I’d chosen Hitchhiker .. Was debating between the two for Camp Loopy and Brickless is going kind of slow.
I’m in GA and am getting to see the kids on and off. Enjoying my visits with them. I don’t mind the distance as much as you do but I do get back here every few months.
