Thank you for sharing your knitting projects. I end up with so many ideas for projects from seeing what you’re working on. If you’re on Ravelry, and if you would like to share your Ravelry name, I’d love to waste more time on there be your friend so I can see your projects and your queue.
On my needles today is the second Cream & Sugar Cowl. I’ve only just started it. The hardest part is getting all the stitches cast on and then joining the circle without getting the stitches twisted. After several times of getting sidetracked and forgetting how many stitches I had cast on, I started putting a marker every 50 stitches so I didn’t have to keep going back and counting from the beginning.
The yarn is so beautiful . . I don’t think the picture does it justice. The green is shaded and I love it!
Pattern: Cream & Sugar Cowl
Yarn: Fiberphile Squooshy Sock 2
Color: Bayou
Needles: 3.75 mm – 16″ circ

I’m so forgetful, I put a marker every 10 stitches if I am casting more than 50 stitches!

That’s going to be gorgeous! Yes, casting on without twisting the stitches can be a challenge.

I put a stitch market every 25 depending on the project. On the sweater I’m making, I have to increase so I’m using that rule and it’s so much easier

Judy, you are making me a year older a day earlier! Stop that!!!!!
I tried using markers on the piece I am knitting but the design does not lend itself to it very easily. By the way, I am tilly113 on ravelry! Although I haven’gt been posting there. If I was you would guessed that was me.
