good for you! 6 yards is a nice chunk to add in. Alas, I stopped at the quilt shop yesterday to buy a quilty gift for a friend and ended up adding about a half dozen fat quarters to my own stash’s benefit. 😉

I’m curious as to how you all keep track of your stash. I have a lot on bolts, so other than unrolling them to count what yardage is there… I have no clue!

CJ – most of us didn’t count the stash we had when we started reporting, we just started counting amount in/out when we started reporting. I keep a simple spreadsheet to track what comes in and goes out and didn’t make any effort to count my existing stash when I started! I would probably still be counting 😉

And for some of us who quilt from scraps – trying to figure out the “before” picture – egads!!!! No thanks! (especially considering that a LOT of my scraps are still in – gasp – bags waiting to be sliced/diced and sorted!)
