This is what’s on my needles. This is the Opal yarn. Some had requested that I include the ball of yarn in the photos so I did. I aim to please! 🙂
Not a whole lot of progress on these, in fact, I don’t think I’ve touched them since last week, but I have a good reason. Months ago I made the first sock using the Zora pattern. The yarn is Madelinetosh Sock and the color is Iris. It’s . . well, it’s the color of a purple iris. I’m not sure any of my photos are showing the color accurately. But, I figured it was time I started that second sock. I started it and I knitted and knitted and finished the leg, then the heel, then the foot and now . . I have a pair of finished socks!
The cables are so pretty. I tried to get a better photo of them but the color is way off.
That’s the 11th pair I’ve finished this year.
So . . what’s on your needles?

Judy, when you knitted the Zora, did you use the same amount of stitches that the pattern called for or did you increase them for a larger size?

Judy, I love watching your socks! I really like those purple iris. I have some growing here and know how beautiful that color is. The cables are great! Looking forward to seeing how the stripes go in the first pair.
